I love this product, which was a gift from my Mom, who made her own baby food for all the kids in my family. :) I have been using the BabyPro at least twice a week (often much more) for the past 3 months and have had no trouble at all with the steamer, as some other people did. Like any new appliance, there was a learning curve when I first began using it, but now I just eyeball the amount of water needed, and it is very easy to add more to the steamer or the blender if needed. I easily make 4 or 5 servings (12 to 15 ounces of baby food) at a time, and love that I can be steaming one food while blending another. Definitely a time and money saver-- this product makes being a DIY Mom fun!!

I have been using this product to make all of my son's food. I have had a lot of success making apples, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and chicken. My only complaint is that the steaming bowl is not that big. So if you are looking to make a week or two worth of food, then you will have to do it a few times. It's very easy, however, I did find that I had to steam the chicken twice to ensure it was fully cooked. Otherwise, I really really like this product and would recommend it to anyone!! Today, I used this for the second time (the first was when I was still pregnant), and it was great. The instructions are quite a bit off, and with a little trial and error I was able to achieve a smooth, homemade baby food. I used 1 large carrot (which equalled about 1 cup when cup into 1/2 inch pieces). Instead of 2 TBS of water I ended up using 8 TBS (4 TBS per cycle) and instead of 8 minutes, I set it for 16 (2 cycles of 8 minutes). To get the food creamy when in the chopper, I added the water that had accumulated in the outer steamer container, as well as a few TBS (which I poured in a little at a time). Once I figured out what worked it was easy, it took a little work, but it was well worth it. I am looking forward to all the experimenting and money savings in the very near future.
