I purchased this portable DVD player for our RV. We went on 2 trips and played a total of 10 movies when it no longer would work. The screen turned completely white. The DVD player was 94 days old after we returned from our 2nd trip. 4 days out of warranty - Polaroid said it was not fixable and the best they would offer is a replacement unit - for $50.00! It's only an $80 DVD player, why would I pay $50.00 when the 1st one only lasted 10 DVD's. Very unhappy with Polaroid, will never buy another one of their products!!!!!!!!!

We were given this for Christmas a few years ago and it only worked for a few months. Then it'd say "no disc" even when a DVD was in place. I called Polaroid's costumer service this morning and they told me that it isn't repairable. All they will do is exchange it for a new one, but I have to pay $135 for the exchange. No thanks! It's a piece of junk. :(

These hooks work great, but I would suggest pulling the rubber/vinyl covers off, dripping some krazy glue in them, and putting them back on because these covers tend to crawl off after a few uses.

I love this product, which was a gift from my Mom, who made her own baby food for all the kids in my family. :) I have been using the BabyPro at least twice a week (often much more) for the past 3 months and have had no trouble at all with the steamer, as some other people did. Like any new appliance, there was a learning curve when I first began using it, but now I just eyeball the amount of water needed, and it is very easy to add more to the steamer or the blender if needed. I easily make 4 or 5 servings (12 to 15 ounces of baby food) at a time, and love that I can be steaming one food while blending another. Definitely a time and money saver-- this product makes being a DIY Mom fun!!

I have been using this product to make all of my son's food. I have had a lot of success making apples, pears, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and chicken. My only complaint is that the steaming bowl is not that big. So if you are looking to make a week or two worth of food, then you will have to do it a few times. It's very easy, however, I did find that I had to steam the chicken twice to ensure it was fully cooked. Otherwise, I really really like this product and would recommend it to anyone!! Hope this helps :-)

Today, I used this for the second time (the first was when I was still pregnant), and it was great. The instructions are quite a bit off, and with a little trial and error I was able to achieve a smooth, homemade baby food. I used 1 large carrot (which equalled about 1 cup when cup into 1/2 inch pieces). Instead of 2 TBS of water I ended up using 8 TBS (4 TBS per cycle) and instead of 8 minutes, I set it for 16 (2 cycles of 8 minutes). To get the food creamy when in the chopper, I added the water that had accumulated in the outer steamer container, as well as a few TBS (which I poured in a little at a time). Once I figured out what worked it was easy, it took a little work, but it was well worth it. I am looking forward to all the experimenting and money savings in the very near future.

Same review as the others, Orange Glo is a terrible product. We tried everything to get it off, with no luck. Here's what worked:

Use 1 cup ammonia to 1/2 cup water.
Soak one rag in the ammonia, and scrub the floor one board at a time. (If you hold your head just so, you can see a slight shimmer from the wax as you remove it.)
Use a second dry rag to dry off the solution after the board is cleaned.
Then, use a tooth brush soaked in the ammonia to clean the wax out of the cracks (we have dark wood floors, and every crack was white with wax build up after we cleaned it.)
When finished, mop the floor with water to remove the ammonia (it can dry out the finish on your floors if left on the floor.)
Then, hand dry the water from the mopping to make sure that you get off the last of the ammonia.

That worked for us, it took 8 hours of scrubbing to remove the junk, but this was the fastest solution. We tried scalding hot water, soapy water, windex, lysol cleaner, and windex with ammonia. The straight 2 parts ammonia to 1 part water solution worked much more quickly than anything else.

Good luck! Hopefully you'll just skip using the product, and won't have to go through these steps to fix what it does to your floors.

I've used Orange Glo on my real hardwood floors, they are not Laminate, for about 4 years now and I absolutely love it. My floor isn't heavily urethaned, so the Orange Glo soaks in nicely. It does have a learning curve to getting it just right, as you can only mop a very small section at a time and use a very small amount of Orange Glo at a time and you cannot let the Orange Glo dry on the floor. Otherwise, when using a damp mop along with the previous tips, I have a beautiful shiny floor every time. In fact, I bought some Libman hardwood floor cleaner, and I hated it. I had to run out and buy more Orange Glo to cover the Libman mess.

The finish started popping off my pre-finished floors....I don't know what caused it, but Columbia Hardware floors are blaming orange glo hardwood floor cleaner...and they are voiding my warranty because I used this product....Don't use this product!!! Is anyone else having this problem with the finish popping off?
