love this coat, i'm 5'3 148lbs the medium is perfect have enough room for a thin sweater, which is good for me, don't wear thick sweaters anyway, i had the large at first it was a bit to baggy on top considering i'm small on top, keep in mind the side zippers give you extra room if you're heavy on botton, i'm size 10/12 not to tight at all. exchanging the coat was a breeze, shipment was quit, receive it in 5 days. to me its true to size:

I sent it back. I am 5'5 and a little under 140 pounds (that is after two boys; my prebaby weight was 124). Still, I should have ordered my true size (small) - I am swimming in Med, unless one really likes the baggy style. Aside from the size issue, I did not like the brown color - it was rather dull, do not get it unless it is your true color. I got the short parka by this company instead, in small size and black color and pretty happy with that. The black color was rich, with a little shine, and the fit is perfect - hugging me in all the right places.

I'm 5'3", 140 lbs, and this jacket fits perfectly. Unlike other reviewers, I had zero issues with the zipper. It's semifitted and the hood fits great with appropriate coverage from the elements. It's nice to have snaps to the bottom of the coat, but I would have also preferred for the zipper to go all the way down too.
