Ordered this item on the 1st and received it on the 3rd. In terms of shipping and handling, I give 5 stars. When it comes to product quality, it could be much better. The first thing is the sheath. The seams are completely ripping apart and the brass tip has too many imperfections on it. The metals studs on the belt loop were also rusted. This is all after opening it and looking at it. Another observation was that the sheath was very dusty, almost as if it has not been touched in months. After actually trying to use the sheath, I realized the blade does not fit snugly and moves around too much when walking. The blade itself was also bad. The metal portion on the handle was starting to rust and the metal was not completely finished properly. It has "pointy" areas making the blade quite uncomfortable to hold. The two service knives were a joke. There was absolutely no quality control with them and they were completely useless. These are the reasons for the below-average rating.

This is pretty much an axe.Not a machete. DO NOT BUY THIS THINKING THAT IT IS A MACHETE. It weighs too much to work for brush clearing and an actual machete would be alot better.

Anyways, this blade came very dull. Once I had it grinded down, it worked fine.

Oddly, my blade has some sort of oil burned into it, but that came out with some Gasoline.

But, on with the review. This blade is full tang, and the tang is as thick as the blade. it cuts wood nicely and I actually used it to cut large pieces of wood into shorter lengths while out camping. It would probably work well as a weapon, but that's not really something I would need to use it for.

Buy this. now.

I purchased this tape to add some additional visibility to my bicycles for nighttime riding.

I'm very impressed with the reflectivity of this tape. It's highly visible when illuminated at night, which is what I was hoping for.

However, buyers should take seriously the admonition in the item description that the "application surface should be flat." I tried to bend these rules (no pun intended) and discovered some of this tape's limitations. It is relatively thin and somewhat brittle if you try to bend it too much. It flexes reasonably well along its primary axis (i.e. along its length) but trying to bend it width-wise led to some minor tearing.

I also had a hard time getting it to stick to the aluminum rack, though the surface was somewhat cold which could have contributed to the decrease in adhesiveness. When I wrapped the tape in such a way that it stuck to itself it worked fine.

Overall I would recommend this product, as it's a great bargain for super-reflective tape, but just be aware of these limitations if you're using it for a less-typical application.

This tape is about as reflective as masking tape. I wanted to markup my wife's bike for night riding. I'm returning this to get something that will actually do the job. If you're in the reflective tape business, there is a market opportunity here: large rolls of high quality reflective tape. No one seems to make this. It's either small rolls/strips of the good stuff, or bigger rolls of mediocrity.

JVCC REF-7 Engineering Grade Reflective Tape: 3/4 in. x 30 ft. (Blue)::Description

JVCC REF-7 Engineering Grade Reflective Tape is used for safety applications as well as entertainment industry use as spike tape or "daytime" glow tape. Reflective Tape is primarily designed for permanent and temporary traffic signage and features an enclosed lens retroreflective urethane film coated with a permanent acrylic adhesive. Application surface should be flat (not for unpainted stainless steel surfaces). JVCC REF-7 may be screen printed, guillotine cut, die-cut, or thermal kiss-cut. The adhesive has a dwell time of 24 hours, but reaches 75% of its adhesiveness after 15 minutes. Comes on a 3 inch diameter neutral paper core and has a paper release liner. Meets or exceeds requirements of federal specification LS-300C, FP-85, and ASTM D4956-94. Has a 7 year durability. Photos of REF-7 are taken with a flash camera in order to show the reflectivity of the tape; the colors of the tape will be much darker if a high intensity light source (like the flash from a camera) is not being directed at the tape. The colors in order of reflectivity are: white, yellow, orange, green, red, blue (white is around 15 times more reflective than blue). NOTES: Sizes shipped will typically be the tape industry standard metric-cut sizes, i.e. 24mm for each 1 inch of nominal tape width ordered (rolls are approximately 5% narrower than the nominal size). This product's actual size is 18mm x 9m. This tape is typically cut to width from log rolls so most sizes ship on a plain white core.

These earphones are pretty rugged, sound great (especially for bass heads) and do a decent job of canceling noise. Only problem, but I think its just the style of earbuds, my ears sweat like crazy with these things. Small price to pay for comfort and sound at less than 30 bucks.

The chrome finish is attractive, the adjustable showerhead settings are what you would expect from any other brand, the filtration does not affect the water pressure (my water pressure improved, but I don't know if that would be the same for everybody), AND you get filtered shower water! It's a no-brainer.

The installation was easy. I set aside a whole afternoon, thinking it would be a nightmare to do the install.... It took 10 minutes. I totally recommend this, it's a great product.

I have had this reader since October 2010 and really enjoy using it!

The advantages of the Aluratek Libre are:

Compact size for carrying around, and there is little, irf any, glare on the screen
You can read books from a wide variety of formats, such as EPub, PDF, Mobi, TXT, RTF, and several others - more than most other ereaders;
You can view photos in the BMP, JPG, or GIF Formats, and even though they are in grayscale, they appear pretty clear on the screen;
There is an MP3 player so you can listen to music, audiobooks, or other audio;
You can also view your own personal documents on the reader, too;
The customer support from Aluratek is excellent;
The reader is easy to use, and has additional features like bookmarking, expandable fonts; landscape or portrait viewing;
This reader is being sold at a bargain price as other newer Aluratek readers have wifi, touchscreens or color but cost more;
Books can be purchased from the internet at sources like Kobo, Borders, Books A million, Google; Sony, and free books at Guttenberg Books, and you can borrow ebooks from your library too for use on the Libre;

The slight disadvantages are:

Battery life is about 2 weeks, which is average for a reader;
The reader has a reset button on the back, which you may need to use once in a while, but this never causes you to lose your books or bookmarks.

Anyone looking to buy a reader should give the Libre top consideration. It may not have all the special features of other higher priced readers, but it does a variety of things ar a great price. You will not regret buying this reader.

I bought this for my students to use in school. I love the fact that it is NOT WiFi or 3G connected, so they can not use class time on internet game sites. It comes loaded with all the classics I use in my class, and I can add works to it via USB from my computer. Every student should have one of these for school or college.

I bought this used, and although the box was broken and severely damaged, the item itself and accessories were perfect. Has 100 books already installed on it, came with power cord, USB cord, earbuds, and even a neoprene case! Only problem I found was under the title "Adventures of Tom Sawyer" was the Old Testament of the Bible! No explanation for that one.... Although I only glanced through a couple books, this is the only one I found like that.

Ease of use is incredible. No need to read the manual, it's self-explanatory... which is PERFECT for my 10-year-old I bought it for.

All in all, if you are looking for a low price kindle-wannabe, and don't need wifi, color, or touchscreen, etc. then this is perfect. My son will be very happy this Christmas, and it will make his backpack MUCH lighter!
